How To Meditate For Beginners
--
I’ve meditated every day for the past 15 months.
Yes, 15 straight months.
- Somedays I love it
- Somedays I hate it
- Somedays I struggle throughout the entire session
- Somedays I feel like it’s the easiest thing to do
- Somedays I do it just to not break the streak
- Somedays I can’t stop for hours because I’m flowing
But you know what? Doesn’t matter.
Because I know it’s instrumental for my personal growth.
I don’t meditate based on my mood. I meditate despite it.
I have only 1 tip for you as a beginner:
Sit down to meditate EVERY SINGLE DAY. Without fail.
Don’t worry if you’ll be able to do it or not.
Don’t worry about doing it right.
Just sit in that posture & close your eyes for the set time duration every day.
The only reason it’ll appear hard for you & you’ll quit is that it’s not part of your routine yet.
In the beginning, we just work on removing that ‘yet’.
That’s the only way you’ll succeed at it.
That’s the only way it’ll become a successful positive lifelong habit.
Consistency breeds success.
